• Deborah has a mixed background in consultancy and line management, working for both Marks and Spencer plc and Nationwide Building Society before joining Towers Perrin in 2000.

• After co-founding Innecto in 2002, she has led projects in pay structure and variable pay design, total reward, performance management and reward strategy. Her clients range from SMEs to very large multinationals, and all have in common a need to change and re-define their business to grow. She has also worked with organisations which are going through merger or acquisition scenarios and understands the particular issues they face.

• Deborah has a depth of experience in the knowledge economy, particularly in financial services, retail, IT, television, professional services and sports. Clients include Talkback Thames, ASOS, The White Company, Adventis Group plc, Arsenal Football Club and the Lawn Tennis Association. She has also worked with public sector organisations such as the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Southern Housing Group, sportscotland and The Crown Estate.

• Deborah has a degree, post graduate diploma and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD as well as a member of the IOD. She has been invited to sit on the Vice-President Reward’s Panel of the CIPD. She has spoken at a number of CIPD and Retail Week conferences and on BBC News and radio, and contributed to research published in ‘People Management’ and ‘Personnel Today’ on HR strategy, organisation design and restructuring issues. She has published research through the CIPD into senior women and their career choices, and has written and updated the chapter on Pay for the CIPD “Advanced Reward” loose-leaf publication since inception. She has written chapters which have published in ‘The Compensation Handbook’ on ‘Rewarding Talent’ (McGraw Hill May 2008).
